1850-1946 CONSOLIDATION OF RAIL NETWORK Argentina’s rail system consolidates, mainly as a result of the incorporation of English trainsets.
1946-1973 INCORPORATION OF JAPANESE TRAINSETS The rail system is nationalized and electromechanical technology is implemented: ENGLISH cars are incorporated, as well as FIAT MATERFER, WEERKSPOOR, HITACHI and TOSHIBA cars. Domestic industry is strongly developed.
1962 OSMAR The company OSMAR is founded, a metal workshop oriented to the manufacturing of rail parts for every trainset.
1982 OSPA SA: ENHANCEMENT OF PRODUCTION CAPACITY OSMAR changes its name to OSPA SA. The same year, a new metallurgical plant is opened in Olivos, with a total area of 3,500 m2.
2013-2014 INCORPORATION OF CHINESE-TECHNOLOGY TRAINSETS TO RAIL NETWORK Partial replacement of existing trainsets.
2014 RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OSPA SA forms a research team and develops the first spare parts for the new trainsets, on the basis of microcomputing and electronics.
